I felt good today. It went quite well.
I discovered a new free game called "Big City Adventure: Vancouver" and plunged into it for a few hours. It has scenes of the city with historical notes and is full of puzzles and timed objects finding sessions.
I just had the grad class, and was well prepared with a lecture based on my own research and a conference presentation slideshow. The students were quite interested in the topic: culture and language teaching. I also gave them an activity. They had to read about specific teaching methods and report back tot he class.
I got in a good workout with cycling, treadmill (easy run today) and skipping plus all the usual weight training. It is colder and I am in better condition than in the summer, so I do not sweat much in the gym these days. However, I notice that my muscles are sometimes tighter; I have to watch the fluids intake as the weather dries. Actually, I injured myself outside the gym a few weeks ago. Somehow, a tendon in my left groin area got strained. It is gradually recovering but I must be careful with it. I can do all the usual activities for my workout, but I have to watch it when pivoting or stretching the left leg.
