A Year of Living Positively -Day 292

After the movie last night, Y and I made our way home before midnight. There was some complication with the payment of the tickets. For one thing, only 10 of the 18 on the list to attend showed up for the movie, and I did not want to pay for all 18 seats. Anyway, we finally found the bus stop to get us directly from the festival cinemas back to our neighbourhood. Then it took some time for me to wind down, because I was past the stage of drowsiness before we made it back, so I probably got to sleep after two in the morning.

I woke up around seven and could not find slumber again. Actually, I did not have a class until three in the afternoon, so I could have slept in a lot, but I could not. I just got caught up with laundry and messages. I did not make it to the grocery store even though the cupboards and fridge are nearly empty. Aside from that, I just watched TV and lounged around. Y brought over some coffee, as I was completely out of coffee and had asked her to make me a cup.

I still felt miserable. I did not feel altert or comfortable all day. I was so out of it that I left for work with the gym bag but no purse. That meant that I had to return home to retrieve it soon after arriving to my office. I took a taxi and managed to explain the situation, so that he waited for me outside the apartment building to take me back to campus. I left my purse behind twice today, in fact. I left it behind in the office when I went to class, so I had to make a trip back to the office when I could catch a spare moment during the class period.

Somehow, I managed to get in a basic workout before the evening class. I did the bulk of the routine: the bike, treadmill, skipping and crunches. I cut down on the crunches in order to cut down on time and restricted the workout to about 45 minutes. I felt much better after the workout and I managed to keep my head clear to teach the long night class on the subject of composition.
