A Year of Living Positively -Day 42

I'm on the slow train to Daejeon writing this entry by hand for my netbook computer is packed away in my rucksack and I'm not certain that there is KORAIL wifi available here as there is on the express trains. We're just rolling into Dongdaegu Station and it\s almost 3:45 p.m.

Trains are busy because this today is the Friday before Lunar New Year. I'm feeling too warm though I've removed my coat.

I just finished reading a political thriller set in fascist Spain, "Prisoner of Heaven " by Zafon. It was heavy and there are several violent scenes during an extended flashback to a story of some political prisoners captive by evil and ruthless warden.

This is one of the books I picked up on my last overnight stay in Seoul, maybe last August. I want to return to that bookstore in Insadong in Seoul where I've booked dorm bed in a guest house. That store has a lot of genres in many separate departments with a wide selection in English.

The train I'm traveling on now is half-empty after making the first stop in Daegu, but there's a wailing child behind me and, currently, at the second Daegu stop, its full to overflow capacity with a lot of standing passengers who seem to be mostly youths and student.

I've confirmed that R will be waiting for me at Daejeon Station. Who knows what the night will bring. The wine is ready...
