A Year of Living Positively-Day 343

This is Friday. It is two weeks until my birthday and the end of this blogging project, "A Year of Living Positively."

The two conversation classes were wrapping up the last lessons today. On Monday, they'll do some review and preparation for the final exam while I check their workbook exercises and November diaries. I am not planning to give any lesson their last day of classes. Rather, I want to go out to a local restaurant with each of these two groups.

These students seemed to enjoy a group activity in which they planned a day trip. They came up with some good ideas for class outings on a low budget and reported on their plans well. The day trip was just a concept; we are not actually going anywhere together.

I am waiting in my office to do FLAT interviews with civil service employees. Actually, I originally turned down the request to do this work tonight as I have been rather busy working three nights in a row, and have ample supplementary income these days. I caved when they insisted that "nobody else would do it." Since I feel this cold or whatever looming over me, I wish I had been firmer in my initial refusal.

I was feeling fine this morning after a good sleep, but the dry scratchy throat returned this afternoon. I won't go out on the weekend. I may do a little school work and shop for food, but nothing much else, I think.
