A Year of Living Positively-Day 304

I feel a little weak and foggy-headed today. It was the first day of midterm exams, so I had to go to work and listen to the role plays of students in two classes over two periods today. I did not have to stay long, though, and I came home a bit early.

The students’ scripts were done much better this time round than last time. Some of them have caught on and have applied the targeted content from the textbook well. Also, they have largely succeeded at composing dialogues representing relatively complex situations while employing the studied devices and structures of the lessons well. I know because I marked half of the scripts of the two classes tested today.

The photo album of images from yesterday’s poetry reading has been posted. Also, the contact list has been drawn up and circulated. We are debating whether to post some of the original poems read at the event, and citations of the established poets’ material that was used there as well. Now we have a group with a long term view to carrying on work towards building a movement for a just peace together.
