It is mid-afternoon and I feel like napping, but it is too noisy outside. Considering the hammering and sawing going on beside my building, I would most likely not sleep. They start at seven, and the workers gather before then, standing below my window joking, arguing and insulting one another. Last night, when the cats weren’t screeching and howling, a group of boys must have been watching some game or porn or something because they were shouting and laughing until around midnight. I am sure they were drinking. From the window of an apartment directly across from mine, the sound of their loud voices reverberated. For awhile, they were out on the street where I saw one of them open his fly, stick out his cock and pee openly in the street. Was it on a dare? Probably, they were just really drunk. I yelled at them fiercely, but they only quieted down for a few minutes. After only about six hours of sleep last night, I feel sleepy now.
The day has been good and productive. I did some banking, shopping and other errands this morning. I went back to the jewelry store and made the second and final payment on the gold medallion. Before that, I went online to set up a new account in order to facilitate access to my credit line that I wish to use so as to expedite the completion of the payment on my land. I’ll just have to send a signed form in the mail and send it off via express rush delivery on Monday. While I was out downtown, I got someone to fix my watch strap. While I was waiting for the strap to be fixed, I went into a dance and sportswear shop because they had some fancy apparel that I thought I could use to make a Hallowe’en costume. I bought pink wide legged pants in a sheer fabric, and a purple chiffon wrap-around blouse with sparkling flowered appliqués. It cost more than I am usually willing to pay for a costume, but I missed the big community Hallowe’en party last year, and I wanted something special for this year. After picking up the watch and ordering a blouse be made, I went into a department store to buy the rest of the week’s groceries. Before I returned on the subway system, I sat to have a drink of freshly blended kiwi and banana juice. I accomplished a lot within about four hours.
Tomorrow, I’ll go use the computer and printer to access and sign the bank form. When that task is done, I want to enjoy a couple of hours of hiking. I want to take the creek side path that leads up from campus to a temple up on Geumjeong Mountain ridge.
I had a bit of fruit and rice and corn bread with a refresshing cold drink once I got home, but my energy is still low. I wish I could sleep this afternoon.
